The Liver produces bile, a substance needed to digest fats. There are some home remedies which we will share to keep your liver healthy.



Turmeric is an excellent thing for the good health of our liver, it is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, There is also some evidence that turmeric may support a healthy aging process and aid with weight loss. So having turmeric mixed in milk at night before sleeping is very good for maintaining a healthy liver.

Take a glass of milk and heat it on a low flame with a pinch of turmeric in it. let it boil. Pour it into glass and drink.



Papaya is the fruit which is best and safest home remedy for treating of the liver, especially for liver cirrhosis. For this take 2 tsp of papaya juice and mix 1/2 tsp of lemon in it. Drink this daily for 3 weeks and see the result.

Apple Cider Vinegar


Apple cider vinegar helps in flushing out poisonous substances out from liver. Having Apple cider vinegar before meals can also reduce fat from our body.

Mix 1 tbs of Apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and mix 1 tbs of honey in it. Drink this mixture twice a day.

Amla – Indian Gooseberry


Having 3/4 Amla daily can also be very beneficial for the liver. Amla is rich in vitamin c, which keeps the functioning of liver healthy.

Alsi Seeds (Flax Seeds)


Alsi (flax) seeds are one of the world’s renowned superfoods. These seeds are very nutritious and helping in many health conditions. They are very rich in Omega-3 essential fatty acids. One can always have Alsi (Flax) seeds in powder form (Crushed). One can have it on toast or salad.
