A simple egg omelette sandwich makes best breakfast, Omelette is a French word that came into use during the mid-16th century. Making a delicious omelette is definitely a skill worth knowing. It is very easy to make, but difficult to master. A perfect omelette sandwich is fluffy and golden on the outside and creamy soft with bread on the inside.

Ingredients for Easy Omelette Recipe

  • Egg 4
  • 2 medium sized chopped Onions
  • Green chilli chopped 2-3
  • 2 medium sized chopped Tomato
  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped for garnishing
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 4 teaspoon
  • 2 slice of Bread

 

Method

Step 1

Take oil in the pan and heat it, add green chillies, chopped Onions, Chopped tomatoes, Salt as taste, Red chilli powder and pinch of turmeric ( Turmeric is an great antiseptic and very good for health). Cook this mixture till it become soft but be careful it should be golden brown.

Step 2

Take a bowl and break 4 eggs, Make sure the eggs are at room temperature before cooking. Cold eggs will take longer to set.

Step 3

Heat one teaspoon of oil in a non-stick pan. Pour 30% of the egg mixture into the pan and spread evenly. Place one slice bread and pour the rest of egg mixture on it. Flip over and cook. (Always use a small non-stick pan for best results. Cook on medium heat. Also, it is advisable to match the omelette sandwich to the size of the pan.

Step 4

Cook the eggs over medium heat for two to three minutes till the eggs are set and the underside of the omelette is a pale gold. Flip over and cook again for one minute. Serve hot.
