Spicy Potato chunks are all time favorite for all and easy to make, its filling and can me made in short time. Spicy Potato chunks can be served with drinks too, it can boost your party mood and can be replaced with other non veg snacks. This simple recipe is secret of Spicy Potato chunks, so lets make it.
Things you Need
8 Boiled Potatoes ( boil potates with 2 teaspoon of turmeric for yellow colour)
Salt as taste
2 teaspoon of Red Chilly Flakes
2 teaspoon of Red Chilly Powder
4 to 5 of Green chillies
2 teaspoon of Chat Masala
8 to 10 Curry Leaves
2 teaspoon of Turmeric Powder
2 teaspoon of Jeera Powder ( Cumin Powder)
4 tablespoon of Olive Oil
Way to Prepare
First take and large pan and put 4 table spoon of oil in it. Mix all the ingredients it and let it heat it, heat the oil in a large frying pan until you can feel a strong heat rising, till then cut the potatoes in to medium chunks.
Now Add the potatoes in a single layer, not too tightly packed. Turn the heat to medium-high, so that the potatoes sizzle mix with and stir until they start to brown underneath.
Cook this on a low flame for 10 mins , Low flame cooking will avoid sticking starch of potatoes at bottom of the pan. Turn them all evenly 2 or 3 times until nicely golden all over – this can take about 7 to 10 mins. then chop finely fresh coriander and scatter it over the potatoes. Garnish with on top of it for nice look and taste.
Once cooked serve them hot with Baby parathas along with Khara Boondi Raita.
